Introducing Nolan — describe it, Nolan directs it

2026-07-12

Every AI video tool gives you a clip. Almost none give you a film.

Nolan is built around a simple idea: you describe what you want — a product shot, a talking ad, a six-shot teaser — and an AI agent plans it, picks the right frontier model, generates it, and helps you assemble the result. No node graphs, no model menus to study, no tool-hopping.

What's inside

  • Chat — describe a shot or an image, refine it by talking. Agent mode plans and generates for you; Manual gives you full control; Enhanced rewrites your rough prompt to the selected model's best practices.
  • Studio — projects with a storyboard of shots. Generate variations per shot, lock your favourite takes, and drag to reorder.
  • Editor — locked shots land on a timeline: trim, layer music and voiceover, and export a finished MP4.
  • Character Hub — cast a character once (in a preset setting like a podcast studio if you like) and keep the same face across every scene.

The models

Nolan runs a roster of frontier models behind one interface: Seedance 2 for native dialogue and lip-sync, Kling 3.0 for stylised multi-shot sequences up to 4K, Wan 2.7 for text/image/reference-to-video and instruction-based video editing, plus GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana Pro for stills. The agent picks the best one for each job — or you choose, in Manual mode.
